Sounds Like Home

This short film I created by myself during the pandemic is a dedication to reminders from home. On a snowy day in New York City I got on a subway and was struck by the high pitched creaking of the car. I could have sworn it was a coquí frog- Puerto Rico’s national animal and the most common sound to be heard on a rainy night back home. I realized I could not be in a place more different than home- but I would always find reminders of it in the most unexpected ways.
