Body + Blood by Shannon Kearns
What is a haven? A place of faith? A place of friendship and companionship? For some, a place of worship may not be as welcoming as it should be. This installation explores the relationship between these gathering places, and invites people to share their hopes and grievances in a safe space. Music played was alternated between church choral music and country bar music.

"I think after we die we just become all the stories people tell about us. All our lives we mostly exist as sorta-flickering figures in other people’s imaginations anyway, and so, when we die, the people we leave continue to imagine those stories, and they start to edit the conflicts and the unique details and ugly parts of us away, until we fade into the best purest versions of ourselves."
